Alyssa Bistonath Photography: Of Life After 24,

Rhymes with belief and I feel both after shooting with Dar, Kathryn and Emily on Monday. We were shooting clothes for Dar’s vintage line (Dar F.M.) and it came together so naturally. I worked feverishly all day yesterday sorting through the shots and processing them and I felt more like myself than I have in months. It’s the value of “make” — healing for all.

I shot the above photographs with my friend Jordan’s Roleflex.

And this one I found on a roll of 35mm from I don’t even know when.

I took last week off. For the first half of the week my friend Marco and I went to Boston. When I came home I slept like it was my day job and dedicated my evenings to juvenile behavior. (I highly recommend this type of vacation.) Today I’m back to work in full force and loving it.

It has been 3 years since we were in Kisumu Kenya. I can’t believe it.

This is a shot of my brother Curt from last year. I have this folder on my desktop. It’s called “to blog” and it’s full of photographs I’ve been meaning to show you.

I’m going to see my Mum who I’ve missed since she’s been away. For some reason it made me think of these photos that I shot in India of Sonam (left) and her mother Honey (right).

My cousin Emily looks so much like my Mum.
