We Heart Amy Savin.

While posting the winter photographs from Cherry Beach I fondly remembered shooting there last year with folk musician Amy Savin. Amy is a bright and a genuine talent and was an absolute joy to photograph. Needless to say, I am extremely excited for her upcoming album release.
Ps. If you look in the far distance of the second photograph you can see the life guard stand that Nathan is balancing on in the post below.
Let’s Hear it for the New Year! (Cherry Beach)
Photography like many things in life requires practice. While I get plenty on the field, I always find it inspiring to meet and shoot with other photographers. So in true New Year style my friend Nathan introduced me to Toronto photographer Maegan Guerette and Vancouver photographer Ken Semenuk. We sat in a cafe and traded some wisdom before heading over to Cherry Beach to shoot of some stills. All in all it was a really fun day, I learnt a ton, and had a great time. I hope the rest of the year follows suit.
Let’s hear it for the New Year.
